About this site

Days Are Forgotten is where I share my stories and thoughts. It's a way for me to escape Meta and X, to have a bit more control over what is shared and how. I don't think this will ever become a popular publication — I actually expect people to read this less than my Instagram — but I want to have a thing that is my own, with no corporation imposing rules and bombarding my readers with recommendations and advertisement on top of my content. I want to decide how my landing page looks — even if it's objectively worse and less optimal than the popular apps.

It is also a way for me to share larger, higher resolution photos. I'm sad that instagram, threads, and the others still can't give us a way to browse larger images.
